North Yorkshire based Raymac Signs have been printing safety and bespoke signage for more than 30 years, and have just invested more than £100,000 on new state of the art printing equipment.

The Mimaki JFX200-2513 is a market leader in the medium-sized flatbed printing industry, and other businesses deploying this kind of printing technology include a well-known personalised card manufacturer.

From their Head Office in Malton, Raymac will be able to increase their production capability of the products they currently sell, which includes thousands of different health & safety signs, along with bespoke signage and personalised gifts.

This in turn will help Raymac’s many retailers across the UK grow their businesses too.

The innovative printing equipment will also allow Raymac to expand into the lucrative personalised gift market, estimated to be worth more than £1 billion in the UK alone.

Andy Hayes, Managing Director is excited about the direction the new equipment will take the company: “The average spend on a personalised gift in the UK is £36.50, and more than 1 in 2 adults have bought one in the last year alone.”

“There’s clearly a massive opportunity for us to take Raymac’s creative skills and great customer service into that market, and our investment in this new printing equipment is just the first step.”
