New Legislation~New European standards are being implemented concerning web lashings for load restraint on road transport. The new BS EN 12195 lashings will be known by their lashing capacity(LC) rather than MBS - so a 5 Tonne MBS lashing assembly will become an LC2500 daN assembly.

Major changes in the manufacture of these lashings includes the webbing being uprated with a higher 3:1 safety factor.
